About the Role
Classy Wheeler Limited is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure solutions for our clients. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in network engineering, with a strong understanding of network technology and architecture.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement network infrastructure solutions, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks;
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine network requirements and design optimal solutions;
- Install, configure, and test network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls;
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques;
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of network solutions;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and contribute to the development of new business strategies and initiatives;
- Participate in training and professional development programs to enhance skills and expertise.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
- Professional certificate holders is an advantage;
- Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in network engineering, preferably in a similar role;
- Extensive knowledge of network technology, including routing, switching, and security;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges;
- Proficient programming skills (Python, REST API, Netconf, etc.) is an advantage;
- Experience in high speed optical transmission and DWDM system design, architecture, and testing is an advantage;
- Good business sense and willingness to learn new technologies and solutions;
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is an advantage.
