About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of AV Systems Support Engineer. As a key member of our Global Services team, you will provide technical support for our clients' audio-visual systems, ensuring maximum reliability and efficiency in all areas of support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer in-depth troubleshooting and user support for reported service issues
  • Deliver expert training on best practices for system use and support scenarios
  • Conduct thorough fault finding of audio visual and video conferencing systems under pressure
  • Configure and provision VC infrastructure, including TMS, Microsoft Teams Room, phonebook creation, and codec configurations
  • Upload code to Crestron devices and configure Digital Sound Processors (DSP) like Q-Sys, Biamp, and Clearone, Shure
  • Support IPTV systems, Digital Signage & Satellite systems from OneLan, Tripleplay, Exterity, and MediaStar
  • Collaborate with commissioning contacts to ensure systems are installed according to commissioning guidelines and policies
  • Work with design CAD Schematics to guarantee systems are installed/operating at optimal levels
  • Participate in meetings to obtain visibility of Global Services client projects and contribute to designs and support considerations
  • Carry out Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), involving final adjustments of systems before handing them over to clients
  • Interact with suppliers and manufacturers to acquire technical knowledge required to successfully execute projects

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional technical expertise in AV & VC equipment (Cisco / Crestron / Extron / Poly / Logi and other relevant technologies)
  • Sound understanding of computer software and hardware systems
  • Knowledge of networking principles for audio and video conference network troubleshooting
  • Awareness of digital and analogue audio and video signals
  • Ability to conduct site surveys and identify potential problems
  • Prowess in reading and working with schematic drawings
