Unlock Your Potential as a Research Technical Account Manager

Bloomberg is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Client Service team as a Research Technical Account Manager. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with content providers, build strong relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

As a Research Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing content from exchanges, brokers, sell-side, buy-side, and other providers. You will work closely with a global team of account managers, technical specialists, relationship managers, and product managers to understand client data needs and develop account strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with content providers and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work closely with the global team to understand client data needs and develop account strategies
  • Optimize data ingestion workflows to improve data quality and content dissemination
  • Become a domain expert in Research content by leveraging business intelligence tools to spot trends and identify opportunities for data acquisition or enhancements

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Korean and English
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple client queries and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to handle and support key accounts, helping them maintain and improve custom systems related to content dissemination
  • Confidence to lead strategic technical and business relationships
  • Drive and passion to develop your own ideas and strategies for your accounts
  • Good interpersonal skills and a desire to work directly with customers
  • A proactive demeanor with the confidence to challenge the status quo and a real desire to improve practices and processes
  • Keen interest and understanding of financial markets

We're Looking for:

  • Strong passion for client service
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of RIXML and programming languages such as Python and SQL
  • Experience using data analysis tools to find opportunities for product or content improvements
  • Prior experience working as an Account Manager in a tech-focused organization
  • Experience with building technology solutions for enterprise-wide workflow efficiency
