We are looking to hire a Trading System Technical Specialist at Hyphen Connect. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the matching engine of our trading system.

About the Job

In this role, you will work on designing and implementing high-performance, low-latency matching algorithms that ensure the fairness, accuracy, and efficiency of trade matching. You will also participate in the design of the trading system architecture to ensure that it has high availability, scalability, fault tolerance, and high performance.

You will be working closely with our product, operation, and maintenance teams to ensure the smooth development and launch of the matching system and promote the on-time delivery of the project. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing high-concurrency requests of the trading system to ensure that the order matching speed and system response time meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Matching System Development and Optimization:
    • Develop, optimize, and maintain the matching engine of the company's trading system.
    • Design and implement high-performance, low-latency matching algorithms according to market demand and business changes.
    • Perform performance tuning and architecture optimization of various core modules of the trade matching system.
  • System Architecture Design and Optimization:
    • Participate in the design of the trading system architecture to ensure that it has high availability, scalability, fault tolerance, and high performance.
    • Design and implement efficient message queues, databases, and caching strategies to support the rapid processing of large-scale concurrent trading requests.
    • Promote the continuous optimization and reconstruction of the system architecture.
  • High Concurrency Processing and Performance Tuning:
    • Process high-concurrency requests of the trading system.
    • Analyze performance bottlenecks and improve system performance through code optimization, concurrency control, database optimization, and other means.
    • Design and implement solutions such as load balancing and distributed processing.
  • Technical Leadership and Team Collaboration:
    • Lead team members to conduct technical research and tackle key problems.
    • Provide technical guidance and support.
    • Work closely with product, operation, and maintenance teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or related fields.
  • More than 5 years of back-end development experience, at least 3 years of experience in matching system development of financial trading systems.
  • Experience in high-concurrency and low-latency system design and development.
  • Familiarity with distributed system design, message queues, databases, caching technology, and high-performance computing.
  • Java multi-threaded programming and concurrency control experience.
  • Understanding of financial markets, securities trading, futures, foreign exchange, and other financial instruments and trading mechanisms.
