Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our Trading Systems Development team. This role will focus on designing and implementing solutions for our in-house derivatives trading system, encompassing order execution, derivative pricing, risk management, P&L, and real-time data transformation and distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-quality software solutions to manage orders, price derivatives, and manage risk, as well as transform and distribute real-time data.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with traders and quants to gather business requirements, ensuring the development of systems that meet their needs.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our trading system, supporting growing volumes, increased automation, and new asset classes through green field development and refactoring of existing codebases using modern technologies (Java 17, Kafka).
  • Provide Tier 3 support as needed, addressing technical issues and resolving problems efficiently.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in core Java design and development, with a strong understanding of distributed systems.
  • 1-5 years of experience in building complex systems using Java, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • A strong commitment to automated testing, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
