We are the investment arm of a leading global exchange, dedicated to identifying and investing in the most promising early‑stage projects. We are seeking a data‑native and research‑driven Investment Research Analyst who will not only be a core part of our investment think‑tank but also a key engine for the team's public voice and thought leadership. What You Will Do: Market & Sector Research: Conduct forward‑looking research on key sectors such as DeFi, Infrastructure (L1s/L2s, middleware), and emerging narratives including PayFi/Stablecoins, Prediction Markets, Digital Asset Treasury (DAT), and AI/Web3 applications. You will produce institutional‑grade investment theses that identify new investment frontiers for the team. Project Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, deeply analyzing their technology, tokenomics, team, and market potential to deliver professional assessment reports that inform investment decisions. Data‑Driven Decision Making: Leverage on‑chain and off‑chain data (e.g., Dune, Nansen, internal data) for deep analysis. Build dashboards to identify early trends, assess project performance, and provide quantitative support for our investment strategies. Research & Content Transformation: Transform deep research findings into high‑quality industry reports, in‑depth articles, and compelling social media content (e.g., threads on X). Spearhead our research‑driven public communications, assist in managing our social media presence, and support related PR activities to build our team's professional brand. Ecosystem Collaboration: Work closely with investment managers and our Business Development and PR teams to share insights. Provide strategic support to our portfolio companies to foster their growth. Professional Background & Industry Expertise: 2+ years of experience in venture capital, a fund, or a related research role. Deep and fundamental understanding of DeFi protocols, L1/L2 infrastructure, and tokenomics, along with a keen sense of the market. Core Data & Research Skills: Truly data‑driven analyst with strong proficiency in SQL and hands‑on experience using on‑chain tools like Dune and Nansen for deep analysis and dashboard creation. Exceptional analytical and logical reasoning skills required. Excellent Communication & Content Creation Skills: Strong written communication abilities. Articulate complex research insights into clear, powerful, publicly‑facing articles and social media content. Professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese required.
