Python - Senior / Backend Developer + Fullstack Developer (Hedge Fund) multiple headcounts

We are partnered and hiring multiple roles for our HEDGE FUND client based in Hong Kong.

Roles Available:

  • Senior / Backend Developer - Python (Hedge Fund / Buy side)
  • Senior / Fullstack Developer - Python + React (Hedge Fund / Buy side)

Requirements:

  • Based in Hong Kong (Holding HK PR / working visa / Dependent visa / Top talent visa / IANG visa)

Senior / Backend Developer - Python (Hedge Fund / Buy side)

We are hiring multiple Python - Senior Backend Developers to support our client's multi-strategy hedge fund operations, encompassing a diverse range of asset classes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, and enhance backend systems and applications.

Must Have:

  • Experience in Python (required)
  • Experience in Python Libraries such as Django
  • AWS

Plus if you:

  • Come from front office / hedge fund / buy side
  • Have experience in Rust / C++ / Java / Scala
  • Experience integrating with financial platforms, including the Bloomberg API.
  • Background in creating complex distributed systems or developing large-scale applications from the ground up.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Familiar with Kubernetes and microservice architecture.

Senior / Fullstack Developer - Python + React (Hedge Fund / Buy side)

As a Senior / Full Stack Developer, you must have experience in both backend and frontend technologies, along with a strong grasp of developing scalable systems and user-friendly web applications from scratch.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, enhance, and sustain full-stack applications end to end development.
  • Architect, refine, and deploy backend services, APIs, and microservices with a focus on performance and dependability.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces utilizing contemporary front-end frameworks.
