Head / Deputy Head, Corporate Banking (AsiaPac focus) A leading bank is looking for an experienced Head to join their SME Banking team for business expansion. Job Description: Formulate strategies to provide different services for Chinese clients with investment/business activities in the Asia Pacific region, covering normal corporate banking products and structured financing (e.g., project financing, LBO/M&A financing). Responsible for architecting the overall Asia Pacific business strategic plan and providing oversight of strategy development for market expansion. Providing guidance and leadership to teams under the Product Department for achieving the business’s commercial goal. Lead Asia Pacific RM’s team in achieving the company’s vision and business goals, while aligning with the overall corporate directives and principles. Collaborate effectively with different business units to drive marketing event programs to acquire prospective customers, enhance product penetration, portfolio growth, profitability of designated segments and ensure delivery of customer‑centric solutions, segment pricing and priority services standards. Develop sales and marketing plans to achieve sustainable business results, enhance cross‑border profitability by generating new sales revenue which is mainly measured by productivity income and improve cost efficiency. Ensure the selling processes are in compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Job Requirements: University graduate in Banking, Finance or related disciplines. Minimum 10‑15 years’ experience within Corporate Banking, with at least 8 years as senior management level in the bank. Experience in corporate banking for Asia Pacific regions focus. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage. Strategic thinker that combines strong technical skills and creative problem solving – turning strategy into actionable platform roadmap and delivery plans.
