Sales Manager

To assist and support the Head of Ethical Channel and to lead the sales team to achieve the team's sales objectives, develop and expand the key accounts of Viatris products. Position Responsibilities Develop sales business plans for assigned brands by gaining internal and external stakeholders input and support. Establishing performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates. Ensure sales programs/practices are compliant to applicable local, global and company laws and guidelines. Provide sales forecast to Marketing Department. Manage sales team with manpower allocation, product positioning and prioritization. Monitor and analyze business performance to achieve business goals (awareness, share, etc.) and the competition. Monitor sales record, analyze sales trend to ensure sales target achievement. Work with Commercial Operations and HR to develop, implement and adjust KPI and sales incentive plans for the field force as necessary. Create a team culture that aligns with Viatris' vision and values. Provide coaching and mentorship to direct reports. Be responsible for the career development of the team members of the sales team. Education and Experience 8 – 10 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, minimum 2 years of people‑management experience. Technical Skills Requirements Strong ability to lead a sales team to deliver on time and within budget. Customer mapping and competitor insight. Strong interpersonal, influence and communication skills. Facilitation and skills in conveying best practice and learning. Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a matrix organization.
