Head of Infrastructure - (Regional Corporate Bank) Overview Join a prominent financial institution as the senior leader overseeing technology infrastructure and services, where your decisions will directly shape the bank’s stability, resilience, and future technology roadmap. Key Responsibilities Lead the Technology & Services Group covering infrastructure, IT operations, service management, and governance to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology services across the bank. Define and execute the overall infrastructure strategy and technical roadmap, including data centres, networks, end-user computing, and local and regional connectivity. Oversee delivery of key technology projects, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement systems and solutions that support business growth and regulatory expectations. Direct IT service management and IT asset management, including monitoring, capacity planning, patching, release management, incident, problem, and change management processes. Ensure robust support for treasury and trading floor technology, including market data platforms, dealer boards, and trading systems, maintaining high availability and performance. Strengthen disaster recovery, technology risk management, and third-party oversight by maintaining effective DR plans, meeting regulatory and security requirements, and optimizing vendor and investment strategies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with extensive senior experience in technology leadership within financial services. 10 or more years in IT management roles, with deep exposure to infrastructure, operations, and service delivery in a banking or similarly regulated environment. Strong knowledge of trading and market data technologies (for example, Reuters/Refinitiv, Bloomberg, and trading platforms) and their operational and resilience requirements. Proven track record in managing large-scale IT initiatives, technology operations, and governance frameworks, including compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, ECF-C (Cybersecurity), ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, or PMP are highly regarded for this leadership position. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder, and people management skills, with the ability to build high-performing teams and communicate effectively in English; Chinese language capability is an advantage.
