Job Description Join to apply for the Senior Vice President / Vice President role at The Asia Group. The SVP/VP will report to TAG Partner George Chen, co‑chair of the Digital Practice, and will play a central role in client servicing, business development, talent development and strategy execution related to Hong Kong and other markets. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day client and project workstreams, including drafting and reviewing deliverables, briefing clients and responding to requests under Partner guidance. Coordinate with other TAG offices, including headquarters in Washington, lead new business development outreach and manage contracting processes to maximize revenue and profitability. Support team management for the Hong Kong office, focusing on project prioritization, talent development and long‑term planning. Plan and implement client engagement activities, supporting policy‑driven engagement strategies and executive‑level and client visits in Hong Kong and China. Produce regular assessments of domestic and international political, economic and regulatory developments affecting Hong Kong and China. Cultivate and maintain a strong network of stakeholder relationships in Hong Kong, China and across the Indo‑Pacific. Contribute to thought‑leadership initiatives, representing TAG at conferences, think tanks and industry‑government events. Qualifications and Experience Advanced degree (Master’s or above) with 10+ years of relevant work experience. Experience in government, public policy, consulting or related fields, demonstrating the ability to integrate policy and commercial strategy. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior executives and high‑level stakeholders in multinational settings in both English and Chinese. Demonstrated knowledge of Chinese and Hong Kong politics, public policy, regulatory environments, and broader U.S.–China relations. High emotional intelligence, maturity, attention to detail and strong ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Experience in client servicing and project management. A collaborative, proactive and professional attitude, with eagerness to learn and grow. Flexibility in working hours, especially when coordinating with Washington, D.C., and other regional offices.
