Senior Vice President – International Sales Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited (AsiaSat) is Asia's premier commercial satellite operator since 1988. We are looking for a result‑driven, resourceful, and energetic Senior Vice President to spearhead commercial opportunities for the International Sales team and business development. Reporting Reporting to the CEO and the Chief Commercial Officer. Responsibilities Oversee the International Sales team, defining strategy, planning, and delivery of the group’s strategic initiatives. Accountable for the company’s revenue goals. Manage sales pipelines for accurate forecasting. Spearhead business activities and formulate overall strategy and initiatives within AsiaSat. Identify potential new business, acquisition targets, and negotiate with partners, forming JVs if appropriate, and lead the effort in building a business plan taking into account necessary licenses and permissions. Manage project teams internally with sales, technical, finance departments, and external resources to work effectively. Present and submit proposals and recommendations to the Management Team on acquisitions and new businesses. Manage subsidiaries to ensure smooth transitions, revenue growth, and profitability under transformation initiatives. Keep abreast of market trends, regulatory regime, technology innovation, new commercial products, competitors’ solutions development to access market environment and partnership opportunities. Lead activities for ad hoc projects identified by the management team of AsiaSat. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 20 years in the satellite industry with 10 years of customer management or business development experience. Good knowledge in telecoms, media and satellite industry is a must. Strong understanding of satellite, technology trends and media business to execute action plans to deliver results. Strong team player, able to work with various team members in management and support staff. Ability to provide sector‑focused advice on the sale process from strategic positioning to completion. Able to analyze acquisition targets, familiar with JV structures and operation in global market. Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English with good presentation skills. Proficiency in Chinese an added advantage. Ability to operate within a high‑pressure environment under tight deadlines. High level of personal integrity, and adhere to a strict company code of conduct. Extensive travel is required. Benefits We offer an attractive remuneration package to the right candidate.
