KITE Search are currently working with arguably one of the most prestigious Hong Kong property developers who have significant assets from Residential and Retail to Commercial and large mixed use projects. One of their key markets is China where they have significant presence in most of the major cities. One of their flagship properties is a famous mall, which is located in the center of a well known commercial streets of the city. We are now looking for an experienced General Manager - Retail Portfolio Manager to oversee this property, lead and engage the process of aligning headquarter, leasing team and operational team to determine new / innovative strategies in order to fend off competition in the markets where the Company remains to hold the retail leadership. In addition, it also covers sustainability efforts across the portfolio with the ambition to be leader for our retail portfolio in the field of sustainability. PM connects the local, regional and global trends of retail and how to implement these into the company portfolio. Responsibilities Follow global retail trends and strategically bring in new brands and tenants into the portfolio Review and explore new business opportunities in the retail business Strong skills in gaining marketing knowledge, insight, and building local networks Liaise and be a good communication bridge between stakeholders internally and externally Lead and engage in the process of aligning headquarters to determine a strategy based upon consumer centric tenant mix that optimizes the individual property's positioning along with revenue growth Manage, analyze and drive consumer movements Lead the sustainability efforts, initiatives and build the foundation for leadership in the real estate industry Requirements Strong business mindset, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills Creative, proactive and able to deliver results under tight schedules Degree in marketing, business administration or related discipline Conversant with shopping center design in the context of Retail leasing, business creation and service enhancement Written and verbal fluency in Mandarin a strong plus In reward for your skills and experience you will be offered a competitive salary package and the opportunity to lead a successful and dynamic team, that are leaders in their field.
