Job Description - SVP, Team Lead (SALT), Corporate Banking, Institutional Banking Group (WD78849) Job Description SVP, Team Lead (SALT), Corporate Banking, Institutional Banking Group - ( WD78849 ) Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of relationship managers and specialists responsible for the Shipping, Aviation, Logistics, and Transportation sectors within the Corporate Banking division Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the bank's market share and profitability in the target sectors Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging the bank's capabilities and resources to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients Oversee the delivery of exceptional client service, ensuring the team's responsiveness and proactivity in addressing client needs Collaborate with other business units and support functions to deliver integrated solutions and enhance the bank's value proposition Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous professional development Monitor and analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and risk management frameworks Requirements University graduate with extensive relevant experience (minimum 10 years) and a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role Strong understanding of the financial needs and challenges faced by clients in the target sectors Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and upholding the bank's values and ethical standards The hiring process for this role is subject to the Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme.
