Fractional appointments may be considered for the suitable candidates.Applicants Should Possess a Specialist Registration With The Medical Council Of Hong Kong (or Be Eligible To Apply To The Hong Kong Academy Of Medicine For The Certification Of Specialist Registration). They Should Have Achieved National/regional Recognition For Professional Expertise, In Addition To a Good And Sustained Record Of Success In One Or More Of The Following AreasClinical services; Teaching and learning; Knowledge exchange and services; and Research (basic science, translational and/or clinical research). Preference will be given to those with demonstrated administrative contributions and management experience in universities or healthcare settings.Appointees shall be mapped to the relevant departments with a strategic role to play in growing the clinical services. They shall also focus on the education of medical students with support to academic research.Those with less qualifications and experience may be considered for appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor of Practice. There will be opportunities for academic growth, career development and mentorship, depending on the appointees’ interests and accomplishments.Applicants who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: ) need not re-apply.A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
