Product Technical Expert - Toys / Hardgoods Sourcing Work with Quality Manager to develop and implement quality management systems tailored to relevant product categories. Ensure these are constantly updated to reflect legislation changes. Ensure all suppliers are aware of standards for product testing, inspections and compliance. Complete/supervise factory audits and third‑party inspections to ensure adherence to Headquarter requirements. Monitor and report quality KPIs and drive corrective action plans. Provide technical guidance during product development and sample approval stages. Assess potential risks in new product designs and recommend improvements. Approve master samples, ensuring alignment with specifications and standards. Ensure on‑time delivery of all projects alongside the other members of the squad. Report regularly on quality metrics, supplier performance and improvement plans. Benchmark best practices and implement continuous improvement strategies. Train external QC partners, where needed, on standards, tools and inspection protocols. Job Requirements 5+ years in quality management, ideally with a European buying office. Experience of working with suppliers across Asia, ideally pet / toy product suppliers. Strong knowledge of international compliance standards. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and influence colleagues at all levels across Asia and Europe, whilst building strong working relationships. First class organizational skills with a clear ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Fluent in English and Mandarin, with German language skills an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
