Security Officer / Senior Security Officer The new 373‑room Dorsett Hotel flagship is inspired by the location’s dreamy Marina lifestyle and the ocean. Catering to both leisure and longer‑staying business travellers alike, our suites offer pantry and light cooking facilities, and interconnecting options. Dorsett Kai Tak features two Presidential Suites, each with its own private terrace and the Presidential Harbour View Pool Suite housing its own 10m lap pool. Other hotel facilities include an outdoor rooftop bar and pool, 100 square metre fitness centre, and double‑height ceiling grand ballroom. For guests arriving from the cruise terminal, the hotel will offer a smooth transition to an atmosphere that echoes the magical time at sea; for the staycation patron, the hotel will give the opportunity to dream of a Marina lifestyle without leaving Hong Kong. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, parking lots, and back‑of‑house areas to detect and deter suspicious activity. Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, such as medical issues, guest disputes, or unauthorized access, following established protocols. Monitor and control access to restricted areas, ensuring only authorized personnel and guests enter. Operate and monitor CCTV systems to identify potential security risks and document incidents. Assist guests and staff during emergencies, including evacuations, and provide first aid or CPR if trained and required. Requirements At least 1 year security experience in hotel or property management. Valid security guard permit and QAS certificate. Holder of First Aid/CPR certification is a plus. Strong observation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Willingness to work 9‑hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays. We offer attractive compensation package to the right candidate.
