Cyber Security Officer

Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s information security policies, standards, and procedures. Monitor and assess system vulnerabilities, threats, and potential risks across internal and client-facing applications. Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and incident response exercises. Collaborate closely with software development to integrate security best practices throughout the development life‑cycle (DevSecOps). Investigate, document, and report security breaches, and propose remediation plans. Manage and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus systems, SIEM, and identity management platforms. Stay current with emerging cyber security threats, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Provide cyber security awareness training to internal teams and promote a strong security culture within the company. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cyber security, information security, or IT risk management. Strong understanding of network security, application security, and cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiar with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, and GDPR compliance. Hands‑on experience with vulnerability assessment tools, intrusion detection systems, and log monitoring tools. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred. Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills. Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
