Senior Specialist (Cyber Security) (Ref. -IE) Add expected salary to your profile for insights Duties Provide technical advice and consultancy on cyber security, and controls from an operational perspective to various teams in the Office and other units of the University. Conduct security assessment on information systems to ensure policy compliance and provide recommendation on remediation for non‑compliance issues. Provide advisory service from a security perspective on IT projects/initiatives to ensure that security elements are taken into consideration of system and process design. Conduct incident response and forensic investigation for security violations/breaches, and recommend solutions. Lead security related projects to strengthen security architecture of the University. Perform troubleshooting and provide technical support for information security solutions/infrastructure. Provide non‑office‑hour standby/emergency support duties as and when required. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or its delegates. Qualifications Have a recognised degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline. Have at least five years of relevant post‑qualification working experience, including a minimum of three years of experience in providing cyber security consultancy and IT security risk assessment services to large organisations. Be proficient in handling vulnerability management process including but not limited to report consolidation, solution recommendation, exception handling and pen‑test coordination. Have extensive experience in using various security scanning tools on technical assessment. Have proven experience in delivering training on cyber security related topics and policy review. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Be capable of leading projects or operation with minimum supervision. Be proactive and able to perform well under pressure. Be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Conditions of Service A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed‑term gratuity‑bearing contract. Re‑engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
