Associate, Greater China Capital Markets, Hong Kong We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Debt Capital Markets Associate to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of DCM and ECM transactions, including but not limited to, ECM transactions, bond issuances, debt restructuring, and liability management. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, as well as the ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation related to equity captial markets transactions and debt capital markets transactions. Advise clients on the structuring, establishment, and operation of debt issuance programmes. Liaise with regulatory authorities, stock exchanges, and other stakeholders in connection with the issuance of debt securities. Conduct legal research and provide advice on a broad range of issues pertaining to debt capital markets, including regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Collaborate with cross-border teams to ensure seamless transaction execution. Participate in client meetings and conference calls to discuss transactional structures and legal issues. Qualifications Your experience Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 1 - 3 years PQE in debt capital markets within a reputable law firm or financial institution. Strong academic credentials in law. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is mandatory. Proven track record in managing DCM transactions, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific market. Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
