Join to apply for the Fixed Income Software Developer role at Societe Generale . Responsibilities Work on internal software and tools for the Rates perimeter within the Fixed Income Rates team. Participate in designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting global applications for Rates traders and sales. Improve and maintain .NET desktop applications and APIs, develop web applications, and contribute to continuous delivery infrastructure. Take ownership of projects, fix and refactor existing code, and translate business challenges into scalable solutions. Collaborate with local and global teams to coordinate releases and change management, and participate in team support shifts. Interact with traders and sales to understand requirements and provide effective technical solutions. Required Hands-on experience implementing performant software solutions in Finance. Strong development background in .NET (C#, WPF) and object-oriented programming. Interest in performance, scalability, and reliability of software. Understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms. Pre-trade knowledge: RFQ workflow, product types, and checks. Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a dynamic environment. Strong collaboration with local and global teams. Experience with Release and Change Management coordination. Desired / Plus Preferable experience in electronic trading in Rates, FX or Credit products. Business analysis capabilities with Asia trading desks and trading venues (e.g., Bloomberg, Tradeweb). Development experience in Python. Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technology experience. Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash).
