Job Description Execute contract and charter agreements, enhancing value through strategic commercial and logistical alternatives and anticipatory issue resolution, in sync with trading team priorities, compliance norms, and enterprise asset preservation policies. Identify opportunities to refine spot contracts and adapt swiftly to agreement challenges (e.g., non-standard shipments, transport setbacks) to safeguard the organization's trading objectives and industry standing. Maintain ongoing communication with commodity and transport collaborators, facilities, carriers, regional representatives, and auditors for follow-up activities; promote smooth processes, prompt exchange of essential details, and adherence to documentation standards. Manage commodity and transport designations; work alongside the compliance group to authenticate suppliers and uphold rigorous vetting procedures. Enter commodity and transport information into operational and regulatory systems promptly; maintain precise position tracking and documentation to satisfy legal, financial, and internal review obligations. Grasp the business implications of shipment disputes and delay charges; implement measures to defend the firm's position. Exhibit keen attention to detail by aligning shipment quantities with external parties, verifying volume pacts, and resolving questions on billing conditions, specification agreements, and settlement clearances. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar discipline; pertinent accreditations (e.g., in trading or operations) are beneficial. 10+ years in operational roles within commodities trading, ideally in energy or resources, with familiarity in large-scale entities. Solid understanding of agreement oversight, transport charters, and global commerce rules. Demonstrated skill in managing operational hurdles, claims, and conflicts in demanding scenarios. Superior interpersonal and coordination abilities for engaging with varied partners. Expertise in trading platforms, data management, and oversight tools; analytical mindset with robust troubleshooting skills.
