Assistant Manager, HR Business Partner at Hong Kong AirlinesAre you passionate about aviation training and excellence in flight operations? Join the Flight Operations at Hong Kong Airlines, where our teams work together to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency, safety, and service.
We are seeking Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFIs) to deliver world-class training and evaluation for our flight crew. This role involves conducting simulator sessions, assessing performance, and mentoring pilots to maintain the highest safety and operational standards. You may also have opportunities to assist and contribute to training initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver training as a Flight Simulator Instructor in compliance with Hong Kong Airlines’ operational manuals and HKCAD requirements.
- Maintain Company standards and uphold regulatory obligations.
- Contribute to course development, recommend improvements, and implement approved changes.
- Complete training records and reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure the availability and quality of training aids and updated manuals.
- Undergo annual standardisation checks to ensure compliance with HKCAD and Company standards.
- Achieve and maintain the standard for an HKCAD Approved Person certification.
- Support special training projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Hold or have previously held an internationally recognised Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL (A)) or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of flying experience in multi-pilot aircraft operations.
- Experience in Commercial Operations. (Training Captain or Check Pilot will be an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of modern airline training practices, including mentoring ab initio pilots.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (must meet a minimum ICAO Level 5)
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills under pressure.
Advantages:
- Experience as a simulator instructor.
- Knowledge of CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) principles.
- Knowledge of EBT (Evidence-Based Training) principles.
- Certification or experience as an Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) Instructor.
- Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Instructor experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful pre-employment background check, including criminal records.
- Pre-employment drug testing (applicable for Safety-Sensitive roles).
