Associate – IT Project (12-Month Contract) Overview: We are partnering with a well‑established corporate bank to appoint an Associate for IT Projects on a 12‑month contract, supporting key banking systems and applications across the organization. This role is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys coordinating projects, working with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day system operations. If you are detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to impactful technology initiatives, this opportunity will be a strong platform for your next career step. Key Responsibilities Provide frontline user support for head office and local banking systems and applications, ensuring stable and efficient daily operations. Coordinate system‑related projects with head office, external vendors, IT specialists, and business users, aligning expectations and facilitating effective communication. Organise and follow through on project activities, including user coordination, meetings, user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and go‑live preparations. Conduct feasibility and impact assessments for proposed system changes, evaluating potential operational, regulatory, and user implications. Support system changes driven by industry and regulatory developments (such as HKMA or HKICL initiatives), including participation in scheduled drills or annual exercises. Maintain clear and up‑to‑date project documentation and progress reports so that stakeholders remain informed throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. At least 4 years of experience in IT project coordination or business application support within banking or financial services, with exposure to core banking systems considered an advantage. Strong IT literacy with solid understanding of banking systems, applications, and technology change processes. Demonstrated sense of responsibility and self‑motivation, with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels. Good analytical skills to interpret system requirements, assess change impacts, and support problem resolution in a structured manner. Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with Mandarin viewed as an added asset in a regional banking environment.
