A Service Engineer is responsible for the service & maintenance of ELV systems according to Convergint’s standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Quickly and efficiently solve clients’ ELV system issues, including security systems, audio-visual (AV) systems, and cabling Provide support and maintenance services such as routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, system upgrades/expansions/alterations, and systems training Ensure the quality of Convergint services by strictly following company standards and policies to deliver a prompt and efficient response to all service requests in the region Produce system diagrams by AutoCAD Increase customer satisfaction and maintain long‑term relationships with clients Requirements Minimum Diploma or above in Electronics, Electrical, Computer, or related discipline Experience in ELV systems with knowledge of access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, AV systems, and cabling is considered a plus; basic IT knowledge in hardware, networks, and databases Ability to work under pressure Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving ability Strong self‑learning ability and able to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using AutoCAD On‑duty is required A valid Security Personnel Permit (Cat D) is preferred Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Technician/Associate Engineer position Behaviours Team player: Works well as part of a team Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty, integrity, and ownership Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Security and Investigations Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Convergint by 2x.
