As Project Manager for Anglo‑Eastern Operation System (AEOS) in Hong Kong, you’ll connect business units with IT to deploy a new workflow, starting with shared functional mailboxes. The aim is to boost productivity and focus across all HK teams using an improved communication system, enabling greater output with fewer resources while maintaining compliance. You’ll act as a strategic partner, sharing responsibility for both implementation progress and delivering business value. Your duties include leading the rollout, modernizing mail handling, eliminating process inefficiencies, training staff on new methods, spotting improvement opportunities, and ensuring optimal use of project resources. This position requires knowledge of ship management, experience with information systems, and strong stakeholder relationship skills. Key Responsibilities Develop and refine strategies for implementing and efficient use of shared mailboxes across global teams. Collaborate with local business units to clarify ownership and provide oversight as needed. Work with cross‑functional departments—Technical, IT, Supply Chain, QHSE, Finance—to achieve operational goals. Innovation and Disruption Be an agent of change and an innovative problem‑solver who can generate scalable solutions to business problems with speed, agility, and high quality. Contribute to innovating solutions that disrupt outdated and manual practices. Keeping a keen eye on the overall purpose and goal while handling the roadblock on the way to get there. Scaling, Automating and Standardizing Communication Infrastructure Analyze communication channels and their connections to ensure tailored design and configuration of each functional mailbox. Initiate, roll out, and oversee the shared mailbox concept based on business best practices and automation options. Identify further opportunities to add value through new features and automations built upon current shared mailboxes, such as automated functions. Regularly revise standards so that all impacted teams benefit equally. Work closely with global IT to automate both the maintenance and oversight of the information infrastructure and introduce control measures wherever feasible. Skills and Professional Requirements Technical training, preferably in engineering, IT and Automation or related areas. Demonstrated knowledge of all duties of vessel management processes. Five (5) years’ experience of people management, training and supervision in the maritime industry or other operations in comparable size and complexity. High degree of proficiency in the use of Outlook, Power Automate, Teams and understanding of the Microsoft 365 environment across. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Self‑directed and highly motivated requiring minimal direct guidance.
