Job Description Vasco Global Limited, an affiliate of a Swiss based holding company, is a wholesale trader of conveyor belts and components. We offer worldwide customers a one‑stop‑shop solution for their needs and serve a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, mining, agriculture, logistics, related servicing companies, and manufacturers of equipment for those industries. We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and detail‑oriented procurement specialist with ideally hands‑on experience in the conveying industry, to enhance our global procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will implement procurement strategies, request quotations, manage supplier relationships, track on‑time production and deliveries, and ensure efficient acquisition of high‑quality customised products from global suppliers. You will work closely with the sales team and senior management to provide the best value for materials and products at optimum cost. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and evaluate supplier quotations, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and business requirements. Develop and maintain strategic supplier partnerships to foster collaboration, innovation, and risk mitigation. Manage end‑to‑end procurement process including sourcing, purchase order processing, order tracking, and final delivery verification and container filling. Collaborate with quality assurance to conduct supplier audits, evaluate product test reports, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Ensure supplier adherence to packaging, labeling, and shipping requirements to prevent damage and ensure compliance. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes. Partner with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and production to align procurement activities with operational needs. Qualifications And Skills At least 3 years in procurement or the logistics industry. Mother tongue or business professional in English and Chinese (verbal, reading, writing). Any other language is an advantage. Structured, organized and detail‑oriented working manner. Able to work independently with a self‑starter mindset. Advanced in using Microsoft Word and Excel. Natural team player with an outspoken and positive mindset. Living the highest integrity values. Enthusiastic about working in a small, agile and international team with key counterparts located in Germany. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in person and remotely via phone, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and vendors. Why us?
