The Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a charitable organisation established to leverage the economic growth opportunities presented by the Greater Bay Area initiative. Guided by our mission, “For Our Youth, For Our Future,” we aim to promote exchanges and support Hong Kong youth in their studies, careers, and entrepreneurial endeavours in the Greater Bay Area. Key Responsibilities Implement the operational plan developed by the Foundation, in accordance with relevant government guidelines, to meet defined objectives. Oversee the Centre’s day-to-day operations, efficiently handling administrative, financial, and human resources functions. Lead the team in planning and organising a diverse range of year-round activities, ensuring high-quality participant experiences. Manage the Centre’s publicity programmes to amplify its social impact. Liaise and collaborate with external partners to leverage resources for programme development. Maintain close communication with, and monitor the service standards of, the servicing partner in the F&B area. Work closely with, and report regularly to, the Foundation’s management on Centre operations. Requirements A recognised university degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in operations management, administration, project management, communications, customer service, or related fields. A highly self-driven individual capable of managing multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), both written and spoken. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign is preferred. Willingness to work 84 hours every two weeks, including weekends and public holidays, on a roster basis. Points to note The successful candidate will be employed under a 34-month contract. If the appointee maintains consistently high work performance and conducts throughout the contract period to the Foundation’s satisfaction, he/she will be eligible for a gratuity payment upon completion of the contract. This gratuity will amount to 10% of the total basic salary earned during the contract period. In accordance with the Employment Ordinance, the appointee is entitled to rest days, statutory holidays (or substitute holidays), annual leave, maternity/paternity leave, and sickness allowance, as applicable. Further details will be confirmed upon appointment. The Centre operates 11 hours on weekdays and 12 hours on weekends and public holidays year-round without closure.
