Responsibilities:

  • Research and stay updated with the trends and technologies in activewear for the China market
  • Create detailed technical sketches, patterns, and prototypes of designs
  • Communicate between teams and stakeholders including tailors, sales, and marketing team to ensure alignment to sales order and marketing strategy for China
  • Adhere to project timelines and deliver designs within given deadlines
  • Responsible for product development from material sourcing, sampling, measurement, product label
  • Conduct supplier evaluation and proposals comparison, and negotiate with suppliers for competitive price and terms

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • 1+ years of experience designing activewear clothing
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, technical design, and production processes
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to travel to China
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
