Overview Mutual Fund & Discretionary Portfolio Management Specialist - SVP position at Citi. The Investment Sales Sr. Lead is a strategic professional who follows latest trends in the field and applies them to the business. Requires excellent communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence colleagues and external customers. Responsible for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding operations, with accountability for technical strategy and staff/resource management within the team. Responsibilities Managed Investment products include Mutual Funds, Liquid Alternatives and Discretionary Portfolios managed by CIM (Citi Investment Management). Educate Bankers and Investment Counselors and other sales team members to increase product knowledge; act as internal product expert and develop marketing programs to drive sales; help develop and manage pipeline for new business opportunities; support after-sales servicing; responsible for reaching revenue and AUM targets in the Managed Investment portion of the business. Understand and discuss current and historical market conditions; communicate complex technical details clearly; influence a wide range of personnel by applying product expertise; help Bankers and Investment Counselors evaluate client profiles and recommend suitable investment products; present in internal meetings and launch new product offerings. Attend client meetings with Bankers and participate in presentations and sales pitches as needed. Act as liaison with Global Investment Research/Due Diligence teams and Bankers; identify product gaps or opportunities and recommend potential products to Research. Appropriately assess risk in business decisions with emphasis on firm reputation, compliance with laws and regulations, and escalation of control issues. Qualifications 10+ years of experience; minimum 10 years working with Investment products. Prior Banking experience; background in discretionary investment offering preferred. Sales and relationship management skills with a track record of building relationships with external clients and internal partners. Experience delivering high-quality service to complex individual or corporate clients. Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills. Proficient in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin; native fluency in Cantonese is highly preferred. Education Bachelor\'s degree; Master\'s degree preferred. Citi is an equal opportunity employer.
