AI Engineer | AI & Tech Transformation Program - Sportswear Enterprise | 47k+ We’re looking for an AI Engineer with 4+ years of experience delivering real-world chatbot or AI agent solutions, to help shape the next generation of operational experiences for one of the world’s largest sporting enterprises. In this role, you will be a key technical driver in integrating multiple satellite systems and applying AI to streamline complex, high-volume operations across the organization. Role summary You will design, build, and scale conversational AI agents that sit across a landscape of retail, operations, and event applications, with a focus on reliability, performance, and measurable business impact. Working closely with product, operations, and engineering teams, you will turn ambiguous operational challenges into robust AI solutions that make life easier for staff, partners, and fans worldwide. Key responsibilities Architect, build, and iterate production‑grade chatbots / AI agents that support at least hundreds of concurrent users and integrate with multiple internal and external systems. Lead the design of conversational flows, retrieval and orchestration logic, and guardrails that make agents reliable, safe, and aligned with business rules. Own end‑to‑end AI pipelines from data ingestion and feature design through to model selection, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring in production environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate agents into existing satellite applications via APIs, event streams, and shared services. Analyse usage data and feedback to continuously improve performance, reduce operational friction, and demonstrate clear ROI to stakeholders. Act as a subject‑matter expert for AI within the project, helping shape technical direction, best practices, and standards across teams. Requirements 4+ years of experience as an AI / ML / Conversational AI engineer, including delivering at least one chatbot or AI agent project with 250+ end users in production. Strong software engineering skills in a modern programming language (commonly Python or similar) and experience shipping production services or APIs. Hands‑on experience with modern AI / ML frameworks and libraries used to build conversational or agentic systems (e.g., NLP, orchestration, retrieval, or dialogue management tools). Demonstrated ability to work across multiple systems and data sources, designing robust integrations and debugging end‑to‑end flows in complex environments. Comfort collaborating with non‑technical stakeholders, explaining AI trade‑offs, and aligning technical solutions with operational goals. Nice to have: domain exposure to retail, supply chain, or manufacturing environments, especially where AI has been used to optimize operations or customer experience.
