The Advancement and Alumni Affairs Team is a functional unit within the Faculty and Planning Office of CU Medicine. It provides strategic support for the Faculty’s priorities and missions, with the goal of advancing excellence in research, education, donors relations and community engagement. Its services encompass event management, alumni affairs, institutional partnerships and visitation arrangements. Responsibilities : Planning and executing the Faculty’s events and projects of various scales, including ceremonies, dinners, lectures, exhibitions, and other deliverables in excellent quality. Providing secretarial and administrative support to organising committees and deanery for the Faculty’s events and projects. Maintaining good relationships with different parties, including vendors, schools, departments, alumni, etc., for the Faculty’s initiatives. Producing marketing collaterals and publications (both online and offline). Building database and online forms. Handling chores of the team. Performing duties as assigned by the supervisor. Working during non‑office hours and at weekends with short notice may be required. Qualifications : Recognised Bachelor’s degree. At least 2 years’ post‑qualification experience in marketing or event management. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua). Good IT proficiency (e.g. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and knowledge of database and online form set‑up. Good team spirit with strong organisational and problem‑solving skills. High self‑motivation, and the ability to work independently and as a team member to meet tight deadlines promptly with minimal supervision, and work under pressure in a multi‑tasking environment. A meticulous attitude and attentiveness to details, especially with data and figures. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test in both English and Chinese. Contract Details Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract‑end gratuity for a 2‑year contract) commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
