Own LP Global’s Asia → Middle East ocean freight procurement program end-to-end. Build the carrier portfolio and contract structures, drive member adoption and compliance, and run a weekly operating rhythm that converts negotiated terms into consistent execution and measurable performance. Responsibilities Define trade scope and growth plan by corridor and customers. Lead carrier sourcing and negotiations, including allocations, equipment commitments, free time, and space protection. Build and maintain rate governance: base levels, surcharges, validity, filing quality, and audit trail. Run weekly execution management: allocations vs. liftings, rollovers, blank sailings, vessel changes, and exception escalation. Onboard and manage forwarder members on the Asia→ME program, translate offers into loadings, and increase wallet share. Maintain visibility and reporting, propose corrective actions, and drive decisions. Coordinate with internal ops and handling agents to ensure clean execution and fast resolution of disputes. Represent LP Global externally with senior carrier stakeholders, maintaining disciplined cadence and clear negotiation positions. Qualifications 5–10+ years in container shipping, freight forwarding, NVOCC, or carrier trade management with material Asia → Middle East exposure. Proven contracting experience negotiating ocean terms, allocations, and service commitments. Strong understanding of Middle East port coverage, transshipment patterns, seasonal disruption, and common surcharge mechanisms. High data and operational fluency: comfortable working from booking/allocation exports and building analyses in Excel. Strong written and verbal negotiation skills, structured escalation style, calm under pressure. Self-directed operator: builds processes, logs, and cadences that scale in a lean team.
