Business Development and Events Manager

Responsibilities include: Planning and executing marketing activities for fairs, including conferences, seminars, forums, workshops, webinars, opening ceremonies, luncheons, thematic cocktail receptions, gala dinners, product launches, entertainment performances, and parades, to benefit exhibitors and buyers and keep them informed of market developments. Managing event planning, preparation, and execution, coordinating with internal teams and external partners such as fair co-organisers, strategic partners, multipliers, and vendors. Identifying relevant seminar topics and inviting government representatives, trade associations, and companies to participate as speakers or guests. Promoting marketing events through online tools like eDMs, online event schedules, and social media. Drafting speeches, talk notes, and MC scripts for event officiants and hosts. Requirements include a recognized university degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, trading, exhibition organization, project management, public or corporate relations, or network building. Candidates should have a strong understanding of Hong Kong's economy and markets, excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and strong communication and organizational skills. Self-motivation, innovation, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure are essential, with willingness to work weekends when needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
