To cope with our development, we are looking for individual who shares the same values as us to take up the position of Senior Manager - Quality Management to join us.

Here is what you need to know about this role:

  • A customer facing role to handle various customers from U.S.A.
  • Provide technical and quality support & advice to merchandiser, customer and supplier/factory to ensure products meet required quality standard and compliance.
  • Develop associated audit programs (when necessary) and QC documentation.
  • Provide technical support to merchandisers, factories and customers to ensure product compliance.
  • Team with Merchandiser and Customer Quality teams to ensure technical specifications are adequate.
  • Work with merchandiser to develop clear quality expectation. Collaborate with merchandiser and design team to maintain appropriate balance between quality and cost.
  • Maintain QA manual and provide training to suppliers so they fully understand customer's quality expectation, policy, procedure and technical requirements.
  • Provide technical advice and address potential quality issues to factory in pre-production stage.
  • Oversee sample construction and review process. Works with design and vendors to reduce sample lead time and ensure samples meet merchandising expectations for prototypes, photo samples, and platinum samples.
  • Resolve product quality issues on time to minimize impact to shipment.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

You might be a good fit if you have...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • Over 10 years relevant quality management experience with at least 5 years at managerial level.
  • Familiar with hardgoods products including health and beauty, seasonal, small electronic and hardgoods items - both on quality assessment and production knowledge.
  • With relevant experience to deal with U.S.A customers would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong quality process knowledge and metric management mindset.
  • Strong negotiation skill and able to manage conflicts.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Willing to travel.
