Join to apply for the Legal Counsel role at Susquehanna International Group Overview Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital is the Southeast Asian and Indian venture capital arm of the Susquehanna International Group of Companies, a global proprietary trading and investment firm founded in 1987. As in‑house Legal Counsel, you’ll be a trusted business partner embedded with deal teams and senior leaders. You’ll work end‑to‑end on transactions — shaping structures, negotiating documentation, and navigating regulatory considerations — while collaborating closely with team members in other locations. The work is varied, fast‑moving, and commercially focused, with real ownership and direct exposure to decision‑makers. This role is also an excellent fit for a lawyer moving from private practice into their first in‑house position: you’ll leverage your top‑tier law firm training to provide commercially pragmatic advice and to influence commercial decisions in a collaborative, low‑ego environment that values teamwork and direct feedback. What You’ll Do Provide legal advice to relevant business units and senior management Review, negotiate and advise on a diverse range of legal agreements and arrangements, including venture capital investments, share sales and purchases, restructurings, listings, custody, funding, and brokerage arrangements Advise on regulatory matters affecting the business Provide support on strategic initiatives as required, for example, on new business structures Liaise with external counsel as required Collaborate with legal counsel in other Susquehanna offices What We’re Looking For A holder of a current practising certificate in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, India, or the UK with 4–5 years’ post‑admission experience gained at international law firms.
