Product Development Manager, Rain Products Add expected salary to your profile for insights Lead the product development team in HK office to perform all PD activities. Collaborate with USA/UK PD teams to accomplish PD requests, product line expanding/upgrading, or proper product line aligning meeting with price strategy. Work with QA/QC teams to provide solutions for improving production efficiency and product quality as needed. Counter source material and product suppliers in China and offshore per head office direction. Co-ordinate with USA/UK design teams to ensure product specifications are created on timely basis when production order is placed. Follow up with suppliers for timely PPS approval and work closely with production team to achieve on time delivery of production orders. Skills: Proven team player who collaborates constructively with associates from North America/UK/Asia. Analytical and adaptable mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Software proficiency: skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator for simple design layout tasks, familiar with PLM system operation is an advantage. Strong time management and organizational abilities, such as prompt responsiveness to priority emails or requests; building up institutional knowledge of product know-how. Capable of leading team members to achieve performance goals and enhance skill sets through guidance and support. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Willing to travel extensively in China and Southeast Asia for PD trips and new factory sourcing.
