Senior Research and Development Officer (Japanese Chain Restaurants) Japanese Chain Restaurants (“JCR”) is one of the growth drivers of Maxim’s Group and is looking for new partners to join our journey in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. The job: Support the team on product development process to ensure all R&D activities are within schedule Conduct market research on F&B products Manage cost analysis and standardize the process definition for new products Source and coordinate new raw materials; arrange raw materials for product development process in accordance with business needs Work closely with chefs, supply chain, marketing, procurement team on menu rotation Work closely with Quality Assurance team for all development elements of quality assurance; including stability and safety testing with the regulatory standards on food legislation and labelling What you will need: Degree holder in Food Science, Food Manufacturing or related disciplines At least 2 years’ solid experience in food manufacturing or F&B industry Innovative, open-minded, well-organized and independent Good communication and observation skills Passionate in food and product development Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and computer applications Interested parties please apply with full resume, state current and expected salaries by clicking 'Quick Apply'.
