AVP, Middle Office, Fixed Income Join to apply for the AVP, Middle Office, Fixed Income role at BOCI . Responsibilities Complete timely review of Know Your Customer (KYC), anti-money laundering risk assessment, and ongoing continuous customer due diligence (CCDD) as required; Assist in executing the duties of the first line of defense risk monitoring for front office, including the monitoring of the liquidity, market and credit risks of the trading desks; analyse major profit and loss events and changes in risk indicators, and ensure that the limit and various indicators are within the risk limit; Handle daily operational activities between the front office, customers, and various teams, as well as the trade lifecycle management, including account opening for customers, trades booking, monitoring real‑time settlement status, and perform transaction reporting to ensure the completion of settlement; Monitor and improve internal and regulatory reporting control processes; Participate in the implementation of various projects related to front office products, conduct system testing, and support the implementation of new products; Assist in setting up and the annual review of Fixed Income Department related policies, guidelines, procedures and manuals; Perform other duties as shall be directed by superiors from time to time. Skills & Experience Degree holder in finance or business related discipline including finance / economics / risk management / business information system or equivalent; Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial institutions; candidates with over 2 years of full‑time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered an advantage; Strong knowledge on financial products and relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards; In‑depth understanding and experience in account opening, anti‑money laundering , CCDD and KYC review; Strong organisational and communication skills; excellent figures sense and strong analytical skills; A team player, self‑starter, mature, detailed‑oriented and able to work under pressure; Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua and written English and Chinese.
