Support the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in upholding and enhancing the organization’s enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, strategies, and operational protocols. Develop, update, and enforce risk management policies and procedures across the company and its affiliated entities. Lead the formulation and refinement of risk evaluation tools, methodologies, and workflows tailored to various business functions. Advise and collaborate with business units to design and implement effective internal control systems. Consolidate and oversee risk governance activities, encompassing areas such as technology risk, operational risk, financial and liquidity risk, legal and regulatory compliance, business continuity planning, third-party/vendor risk, data protection, and reputational risk. Supervise the organization’s cybersecurity readiness and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. Actively engage in strategic planning and new business initiatives, offering insights from a risk and control standpoint. Prepare and deliver comprehensive risk reports to executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and regulatory authorities as required. Assist the CRO in communicating risk-related insights and disclosures to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, Risk Committee, auditors, and regulators. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, risk management, information systems, or a related field. Recognized certifications in IT security or risk management such as CISP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent credentials. At least 15 years of progressive experience in risk management, ideally within leading financial institutions, with a minimum of 8 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. In-depth knowledge of risk disciplines and financial services operations, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in cybersecurity and technology risk oversight. Solid understanding of ERM frameworks, risk governance practices, and relevant international and local regulatory requirements. Demonstrated strengths in analytical thinking, leadership, and interpersonal communication. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is considered a plus.
