About the client Our client is a multinational manufacturer with an established presence in the Asia‑Pacific region. They are seeking a senior manager to join their Hong Kong team to develop the company’s business across key cities and drive cross‑border collaboration in medical devices. About the role Develop and execute regional business strategies to expand market share and growth in the Greater Bay Area, covering Hong Kong, Macau, and major mainland Chinese cities. Lead daily business operations, coordinate cross‑regional activities, and oversee revenue forecasting to ensure achievement of targets. Identify, recruit, and manage distribution partners and key customer relationships to strengthen market presence and ensure effective product delivery. Drive product launches, support marketing initiatives, and represent the company at industry events to enhance product branding and corporate reputation. Provide market intelligence and updates on competitor and industry trends; align business plans with regulatory developments and market dynamics. Collaborate closely with senior management on strategy, planning, and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to company and regional policies. Handle ad‑hoc assignments and business projects as directed by senior leadership. The successful applicant Holds a bachelor’s degree in science, biomedical, life sciences, or related discipline. Possesses extensive experience (minimum 11 years) in medical‑device sales and sales management, with a track record in business development and sales of endovascular, radiology, or similar products, preferably with exposure to the Greater Bay Area or cross‑border markets. Demonstrates a strong understanding of Hong Kong business environments, regulatory frameworks, and cultural factors. Ambitious, results‑driven, and resilient, with proven leadership skills and the ability to thrive under pressure. Professional and persuasive communicator with excellent relationship‑management abilities. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and adept at collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
