Our client is a leading sells side Investment Bank and holds full licences SFC Type 1,2,4,6,9. Recruit IBD Quality Control IBD Quality Control Budget (110K-120K) Responsible for the quality control, risk management and advice on the transactions of the Investment Banking Department. Key Accountability Assist the team leader to establish, maintain and review internal control measures on Investment Banking Department Support the team leader on deal screening (i.e. DSC meeting) and ensure sufficient due diligence was done for IPO transactions (i.e. DDC meeting) Identify and resolve the issues that the Investment Banking Department encountered in daily operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Strengthen the internal control systems by continuously refining the Procedural Manual and other work arrangements Promote a corporate culture of quality assurance, conscientiousness, risk and compliance Provide sound advice to the Investment Banking Department to enhance overall deal quality and facilitate transactions executed by Teams Review and comment on submissions to regulatory authorities (i.e. prospectus, circular, announcement, reply letters) to improve quality of submissions Liaise with regulatory authorities to facilitate execution of transactions Requirements Master degree holder in Finance or related discipline(s) from a reputable university At least 5-8 years experience in reputable investment banks, Big4 accounting firms or law firms. Previous experience in HKEx or SFC is preferred Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements including the Listing Rules and the Takeovers Code Knowledge of execution and operational procedures for different kinds of corporate finance Preferable with working experience in Chinese deals Attained all regulatory criteria for carrying out investment activities Good analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal and negotiation skills Ability to effectively prioritise and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese Interested individuals can click apply now and send an updated resume (in WORD format) to Steven Lau at for further processing and discussion.
