The Opportunity Our client is seeking an outstanding Principal Investor to join its core investment team. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role with immediate responsibility for sourcing, leading diligence, structuring, and executing investments worldwide. Location is fully flexible - candidates can be based anywhere (San Francisco, New York, London, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, remote, etc.). The Role Independently source and execute high-conviction investments across the full Web3 spectrum, including: → Real-World Assets (RWA) & tokenization → AI x Crypto (agents, decentralized compute, inference) → Stablecoin issuance, rails, and yield-bearing primitives → Layer-1 / Layer-2 ecosystems and app-chain extensions → DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure) → Gaming, consumer crypto, and socialFi → Any emerging high-signal narrative in the current cycle Own the entire deal lifecycle: screening, deep technical/product/financial diligence, competitive mapping, structuring (SAFT, SAFE, token warrants), negotiation, and active post-investment support Cultivate proprietary deal flow and lasting relationships with founders and co-investors across North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia Collaborate with the partnership on thesis development, sector mapping, and portfolio construction Represent the fund publicly at conferences, panels, podcasts, and on social channels (as desired) Your Profile Significant direct experience investing in or building within crypto/Web3 (VC, growth equity, top-tier hedge fund crypto desk, founder, core protocol team, etc.) Demonstrated investment track record with multiple realized or clear unrealized wins in at least two of the verticals listed above Exceptional pattern recognition and ability to separate durable signal from short-lived noise in fast-moving markets Strong technical and product intuition - comfortable evaluating smart-contract architecture, tokenomics, consensus mechanisms, and go-to-market execution Existing high-quality founder and investor relationships across multiple continents Outstanding academic pedigree from a globally recognized top-tier university; advanced degrees welcomed Fluent English required; Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, or Arabic is a significant advantage Intellectually curious, high-energy, low-ego team player who thrives in a flat, fast-paced culture This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most respected and best-capitalized platforms in the industry at a pivotal moment in the cycle.
