Mobile Insurance Specialist - Hong Kong Business Join HSBC as a Mobile Insurance Specialist and help deliver an exceptional, mobile-first insurance experience to our premier customers in Hong Kong. Wealth & Personal Banking (WPB) runs the world‑class wealth and retail banking capabilities for HSBC. The Mobile Insurance Specialist will identify, capture and deliver insurance solutions that match our clients’ needs while ensuring compliance and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Principal Responsibilities Identify and capture insurance business opportunities by promptly following up on analytically driven leads with a focus on targeted Hong Kong customers. Build and retain quality relationships with targeted customer groups; manage individual insurance portfolios and keep Premier mainland customers engaged to ensure high satisfaction and persistence. Engage end‑to‑end insurance services, including customer needs identification, solution recommendation, application fulfilment and follow‑up. Provide specialist advice on appropriate insurance solutions to meet Premier customers’ protection needs. Establish effective working relationships with other teams within the branch and relevant partners to deliver consistent service standards. Build and maintain a positive team culture through quality business referrals, referral skills development, and sharing product knowledge. Maintain high compliance standards and ensure all activities meet legal and regulatory requirements and HSBC procedures. Primary Qualifications Tertiary or university level education, preferably in finance, business or a related discipline. Strong experience in understanding client needs and providing life‑insurance solutions, especially with exposure to mainland clients. Extensive wealth‑management and insurance product knowledge and sales capabilities. Required insurance licences: Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Papers 1, 7, 8 and Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination Papers 1, 2, 3, 5 (and compliance with CPD). Good level of English reading and writing; fluent Mandarin required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills. Remark: Multiple work locations available across branches in Hong Kong, Kowloon, and New Territories.
