About the role Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this full‑time position, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimisation of complex mechanical systems, contributing to the company’s innovative projects and continued growth. What you’ll be doing Spearhead the design, analysis, and testing of advanced mechanical systems, ensuring they meet stringent performance, safety, and efficiency requirements. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative solutions that push the boundaries of mechanical engineering. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers, mentoring and supporting their professional development. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement streamlined workflows to enhance productivity. Stay up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend implementation strategies. Ensure all projects adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations, maintaining the highest levels of quality and compliance. What we’re looking for A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a strong academic record. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast‑paced, innovative environment. Proven track record of designing, developing, and optimising complex mechanical systems. Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills. Proficiency in using CAD software, finite element analysis tools, and other engineering software. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
