Job Overview Mechanical Engineer within our toy laboratory in Hong Kong. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Mechanical Department Engineer collaborates with the Toy Lab Assistant Manager to draft SOPs or testing procedures to ensure smooth operations of the mechanical department. Handles samples and performs mechanical testing according to the SOPs and testing procedures. Assists with clerical work when required. Maintains records of all testing‑related quality activities as documented in the Quality Manual and testing procedures. Reports any deficiencies or malfunctions to the Senior Mechanical Department Engineer/Quality Manager. Implements, maintains and continuously improves laboratory and/or quality activities. Assists with other duties as directed by the Senior Mechanical Department Engineer, Toy Lab Assistant Manager, or Hardlines Lab Manager of API Lab Testing Ltd. Education and Qualifications Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and/or Minimum of 3‑year experience in mechanical engineering field. Tools Skills Proficient in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Disclaimer Job duties and requirements are subject to change.
