Ballet Teacher Part-time/Full-Time opportunity Founded by former principal ballerina Venus Villa in 2023, we dedicate ourselves to provide not only world‑class dance training but a warm and caring environment for each talent to grow at their best of abilities. Venus Villa brings her extensive professional experience from top ballet companies, including the Royal Ballet of London, Washington Ballet and Hong Kong Ballet, ensuring students receive elite formation regardless of their dance level. With a strong emphasis on both technical excellence and artistic expression, the academy nurtures aspiring dancers through bespoke training, caring mentorship, and access to both local and international competition (Prix de Lausanne, YAGP) opportunities. The Academy fosters a culture of discipline, creativity, and self‑expression, ensuring each student develops their unique artistic voice and helps them build confidence and resilience. Role: Join a growing school establishing itself as a reference in ballet teaching in Hong Kong. Plan and teach ballet classes to our students aged 4 to 16 . Choreography for performances and competitions. Prepare for competitions registration, coordination with organiser and parents, availability on the day. Support annual Show/Gala preparation and performance. Report student learning status regularly to the management and parents. Opportunity to work closely with Venus Villa , former Principal ballerina at HK Ballet. Learn the Cuban Methodology applied at the school with opportunities to be sponsored for certification . Any ad hoc duties as assigned. Skills & Experience: Experience in ballet teaching for at least 5 years with younger kids & older ones . Ability to coordinate and prepares students for competitions locally and abroad. Experience in ballet choreography and performance is welcome. Experience as a professional dancer a plus. Passion for children and natural ability to teach with care is required. Certificates of RAD is not necessary as we don't teach that methodology. Personal attributes and qualities Caring and Reliable - this is a must Extensive experience as a ballet dancer and teacher. Efficient and able to look after the school and not only students. Keen interest in growing teaching skills and learning Academy method.
