No.: 3/03TPJE/SP4/HKTDC The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organization promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professional to join our Service Promotion Department. Responsibilities Assist project managers in the overall planning and execution of local and international trade promotional events in the entertainment industry, such as FILMART, Festival de Cannes, and the Entertainment Expo Recruit exhibitors and participants for trade promotional projects Provide logistic support for trade promotional projects, including liaising with external vendors, as well as internal departments and branch offices Handle enquiries of event participants and undertake on-site duties Liaise and maintain good relations with working partners and industry associations Undertake administrative duties as necessary Requirements University graduate with 2 years of solid experience in event organising or project management is preferred (Fresh graduates who have relevant internship experience or educational background in these areas will also be considered) Solid prior experience in event management is an advantage Proactive, self-initiated and detail-minded Mature, creative, with team spirit Able to multitask, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua Proficiency in MS applications and Chinese word-processing Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels Remuneration and Benefits The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs.
