Manager, Service Promotion (Healthcare and Bio-medical Services) the appointee will be responsible for organising HKTDC’s marketing/promotional programs and activities for promoting the medical and healthcare sector, including: Oversee and execute promotional activities for different projects, including an anchor conference on health innovation and investment in Hong Kong and other overseas/mainland promotions. Liaise and coordinate with HKTDC Branch Offices and external parties such as speakers, sponsors, industry institutions, business associations, vendors, etc. Handle and supervise logistical issues such as speakers/VIPs’ travel, venue setup and information preparation, etc. Liaise and maintain relationship with related trade associations and multipliers. To manage and provide secretariat support to a steering committee. Monitor global market developments and industry trends of the healthcare sector. Provide on-site support and other administrative support as and when necessary. Requirements A recognised university degree with at least 8 years’ working experience, preferably with sizable organisations, in any of the following areas: sales and marketing; exhibition/event organisation or public/corporate relations, etc. Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various industries, and markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua; knowledge of a third language an advantage. Mature with superior skills in sales, marketing and communication. A strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Self‑motivated and outgoing with good project planning ability. Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure. Knowledge of healthcare related services sectors and previous experience in organising events and conferences an added advantage. Candidates with less solid experience will be offered at Assistant Manager, Service Promotion. Remuneration and Benefits Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be offered.
