Technical Officer / Assistant Maintenance Engineer (E&M) – PolyU Hung Hom Established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd. Approximately 1,700 blocks are currently managed by Hong Yip and these include private housing estate, luxurious houses, commercial and industrial buildings, shopping centres and government facilities. What you’ll be doing? In-charge to manage and assign work orders to the technical team to carry out routine repair and maintenance work for properties. Conduct regular site inspection to monitor the progress of maintenance works and provide recommendations for improvement. Handle enquiries and complaints about maintenance works and provide appropriate solutions after investigation. Participate in the maintenance purchase and budget proposals within the approved budget. Coordinate with all the relevant parties to ensure safety during the implementation of maintenance works. Keep proper records of all documents including tendering and quotations. Job Requirements: A recognized certification/diploma in Building Services/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline plus at least 5 years' relevant experience. At least 5 years solid experience and knowledge in Electrical distribution system, LV switchboard, emergency generators, lighting, UPS, smart meter system, PV systems, etc., in the aspects of not only daily R&M but also emergency repair and fault finding. Good communication and customer service skills. Registered electrical worker under the category of Grade B or above electrical worker is a must. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Familiar with PC operation, Microsoft office, and basic BIM operations. Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Maintenance Engineer.
